Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operations Coordinator located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Operations Coordinator will manage daily operations provide administrative assistance, and support the overall efficiency of the Director & team. The role involves managing FOB & POE orders, from routing thru receiving & billing. Monitoring EDI for errors & correcting. Co-managing 4 companies' needs & assisting to implement efficiencies. Managing multiple warehouses & insuring proper work flows throughout the logistics chain. Quoting with multiple trucking companies for best rates.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills for assessing processes and performance
- Excellent Communication Skills for effective interaction with team members and external partners
- Operations Management experience for overseeing day-to-day business activities
- Administrative Assistance skills for organizing, scheduling, and supporting office functions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to route/ship & bill POE & FOB orders
- Experience in a similar role is a must
