We are seeking an experienced Regional Vice President of Operations to oversee a portfolio of multifamily communities throughout the Dallas region for a reputable owner/operator. The ideal candidate will be a strong, strategic leader with deep operational expertise, financial acumen, and a proven ability to drive performance across diverse asset types.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for a regional portfolio of multifamily communities (conventional and affordable housing)
- Lead and mentor regional and on-site teams to achieve occupancy, financial, and customer service goals
- Oversee operating budgets, financial reporting, and capital planning
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal affordable housing regulations
- Collaborate with senior leadership to implement strategic initiatives and drive portfolio growth
- Monitor property performance metrics and ensure consistent execution of company standards
- Partner with asset management, accounting, and development teams to align operational and investment objectives
- Direct reports: 3 Regional Managers
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10+ years of multifamily property management experience
- Proven leadership skills in managing large portfolios and multiple teams
- Strong financial and operational management experience
- High level understanding of affordable housing programs
- Excellent communication, organization, and team development abilities
In return:
- Base salary $165,000 - $180,000 DOE + annual bonus
