Role Overview:
As VP of Project Delivery, you will lead the strategic direction, execution, and successful completion of multiple high-profile food & beverage facility expansion projects across the Southeast. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, capital project effectiveness, and alignment with the company’s growth and innovation objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive leadership and vision for capital construction and expansion projects in food/beverage manufacturing facilities, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee a portfolio of projects involving advanced food processing lines, utility infrastructure upgrades, and automation integration.
- Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction management, quality assurance, and operations leadership.
- Champion compliance with food safety regulations (FDA, USDA) and industry standards related to hygienic design and sustainable practices.
- Develop and manage multimillion-dollar budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure projects meet scope, quality, and financial targets.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with key stakeholders, vendors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, energy efficiency, and waste reduction across projects.
- Mentor and develop senior project managers and directors to build a high-performance project delivery organization.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years in senior leadership roles overseeing complex capital projects within the food & beverage manufacturing industry.
- Deep understanding of electrical systems, automation, and facility infrastructure in regulated, hygienic environments.
- Demonstrated success managing large project portfolios with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
- Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and executive communication skills.
