President – Frozen Prepared Foods / Contract Manufacturing

Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and experienced President to lead a complex food manufacturing business through a period of operational improvement and cultural reset. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in food or contract manufacturing, with the ability to lead a hands-on turnaround focused on quality, efficiency, and growth.
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and execute a focused plan to stabilize operations and drive sustainable growth.
• Partner with ownership to align on strategy, investment priorities, and value-creation milestones.
• Monitor market and customer trends to identify opportunities for expansion.
Operational Excellence
• Oversee manufacturing, production, and supply chain performance to improve throughput, cost structure, and quality.
• Implement lean practices and strengthen accountability across all levels.
• Drive food safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Financial Management
• Lead financial and operational performance with a focus on profitability, cash flow, and working capital management.
• Establish performance metrics and ensure disciplined cost control.
• Manage capital projects and resource allocation tied to operational efficiency.
Team Leadership
• Build and develop a capable, aligned leadership team.
• Foster a culture of communication, accountability, and pride in performance.
• Lead by example with a visible, floor-level presence and clear expectations.
Commercial Growth
• Strengthen customer and partner relationships across foodservice, retail, and private label channels.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve service levels, reliability, and responsiveness.
• Evaluate new product opportunities aligned with customer demand and manufacturing capability.
Qualifications
• 15+ years of leadership experience in food production, manufacturing, or contract manufacturing.
• Track record leading turnarounds or performance improvement initiatives.
• Strong technical and operational background, with knowledge of food safety and production systems.
• Hands-on leader with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Financial acumen and proven ability to manage budgets and deliver results.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Compensation
Base salary targeted in the $225,000–$250,000 range, plus performance-based bonus and long-term incentive participation.
