Chase and Associates is excited to be partnering with a well-established family owned packaging organization making a big move into sustainable paper bag production. This organization is thinking about sustainability on multiple fronts, in ways that help the environment in addition to driving cost saving initiatives for their customer base.
This is where the Production Manager – Paper Bag Converting – Comes in. This leader is going to be responsible for staffing out, standing up, and operating a new plant with plans to grow to 100+ workers of various skill levels across four shifts on a 24 hour schedule. This role will have Shift Supervisors to start but there is significant opportunity to grow in responsibility.
What you Need
Direct experience and knowledge of Paper Bag Converting. MUST HAVE
Expertise in operational leadership of a manufacturing facility in mass production.
Experience staffing a new facility. GREENFIELD or BROWFIELD experience NECESARY
Ability to implement Continuous Improvement methodology in a workforce. Show me your metrics, your growth and stories.
Entrepreneurial drive and spirit.
24 hour facility operation experience preferred.
