We’re looking for an experienced R&D Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and technicians in the design, development, and verification/validation of medical devices. This role ensures engineering projects meet quality, safety, and performance standards while supporting organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee engineering projects from concept through production, ensuring on-time, cost-effective delivery that meets requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and leadership, to evaluate feasibility, cost, and demand for new products.
- Advise leadership on design changes impacting schedule, cost, or customer outcomes.
- Develop processes, policies, and procedures to support high-quality, efficient engineering work.
- Hire, train, and mentor SW, ME and EEsand technicians, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5–7+ years engineering experience; medical device experience preferred.
- 3+ years managing engineering teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
