Job Summary:
The Operations Director will oversee and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production of custom digital orthodontic solutions. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The Operations Director will play a critical role in supporting our Client's mission to revolutionize orthodontic practices .
Responsibilities:
* Manufacturing Oversight: Manage and optimize the manufacturing of custom fixed appliances using 3D modeling and indirect bonding techniques.
* Efficiency Improvement: Implement strategies to reduce overall treatment time and the number of appointments needed, contributing to the reported 41% reduction in treatment time and 45% reduction in appointments.
* Quality Control: Ensure all products meet high standards for precision and customization.
* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
* Process Optimization: Streamline manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
* Financial Management: Manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including R&D, sales, and customer support, to ensure seamless operations.
* Technology Integration: Stay current with the latest manufacturing technologies and implement them as appropriate to improve capabilities.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in a custom manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of 3D modeling and digital manufacturing processes.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
