What You’ll Do
As Plant Manager, you'll oversee all day-to-day operations in our manufacturing facility, including Production, Inventory, Packaging, Facilities, and Administration. You’ll be responsible for leading a team of talented professionals while ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and develop department managers and cross-functional teams
- Oversee staffing, onboarding, training, and ongoing performance management
- Align production planning with sales forecasts and market demand
- Foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
- Ensure inventory accuracy and compliant product movement within ±5% tolerance
- Approve product release and ensure all activities meet state and regulatory requirements
- Manage raw material procurement, forecasting, and storage
- Track KPIs, manage budgets, and report monthly performance to executive leadership
- Lead food safety protocols, audits, and employee training
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations
- Create a motivating, inclusive, and high-performance team environment
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in manufacturing or packaging (CPG, food, beverage, or cannabis preferred)
- 2+ years of multi-department team leadership experience
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and inventory management systems
- Detail-oriented and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to travel between locations as needed
- High math proficiency and visual inspection capabilities
- Must pass background check and obtain all required state permits and certifications
