We are currently seeking a
Supply Chain Specialist to support our Concord, California location.
Principal Objective
The primary responsibility of this role is to support all aspects of material movement at the Concord facility to ensure seamless alignment between material availability, production and customer requirements. This involves the timely input and placing of purchase materials requirements while maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring customer commitments are met. The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for performing and coordinating all shipping activities to ensure accurate and timely delivery. The role will act as the onsite liaison for import and export compliance activities under the Director of Quality and Compliance. The Supply Chain Specialist coordinates closely with Procurement, Engineering, Production, and other departments to align material flows, tooling needs, and manufacturing sequences to support efficient production execution.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning/Inventory Control
Create & Monitor Production Plans for Forks and Nuggets
Maintain master production schedule based on backlog and forecast
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS in Business Administration/Management or Supply Chain
- A minimum of 4-6 years manufacturing or operational planning experience
- Experience with ERP systems, specifically Syteline is a plus
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of BOMs, engineering drawings, and production processes
- Working knowledge of freight carriers, shipping documentation requirements
- Experience with international shipping and customs requirements, specifically as it relates to licensed shipments.
Preferred Qualifications
- APICS or ISM Supply Chain Certification (CPIM, CSCP, etc.)
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
- Experience in demand planning or supply chain coordination
- Understanding of new product introduction (NPI) processes

The salary range for this role is $75,000-$100,000. Emcore also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and Company-paid holidays.
