Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a full-time, permanent position in Sanford, Florida. As an ICU RN, you will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and comprehensive care to ICU patients.
- Monitor, assess, and manage patients with life-threatening conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
- Use critical thinking and clinical judgment to respond to emergency situations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide support and education to patients and families regarding treatment plans.
Qualifications - Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent ICU RN experience in acute care (Required)
- License: Active Florida RN license OR approved multistate/compact RN license
- Note: Compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days of relocation
- Education:
- Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BSN preferred
- Certifications (Required):
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification – within 30 days of start
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) – within 30 days of start
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – within 6 months of start
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – within 6 months of start
