Production Line Side Inspector - Short-Term Contract

TRIGO Quality Solutions is seeking inspectors for a short-term contract assignment supporting our automotive customer in Toledo, OH. This role will focus on reworking roofing automotive parts that contain defects after leaving the production line. The customer has a backlog of parts requiring attention, though the duration of the project is still to be determined.
Reports to:
Resident Engineering Director and Resident Engineer Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quality inspections and audits on incoming and in-process parts using hand gauges and visual techniques.
Contain and address non-conforming parts or sub-assemblies.
Rework defective parts through methods such as grinding, sanding, drilling, tapping, assembly/disassembly, and cleaning.
Support the customer's production by ensuring repaired parts meet specifications and fitness for use.
Document inspection and rework results; communicate findings to supervisors and customer contacts.
Requirements:
Must be able to use basic hand tools (gauges, drills, taps, grinders, sanders, etc.).
Ability to follow rework and inspection processes accurately.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to quality.
Previous inspection or rework experience in manufacturing/automotive preferred.
Additional Information:
This is a short-term, project-based role; duration will depend on customer needs.
