Summary
Under the direction of the PPG leader, supports the clerical functions in the ambulatory care setting. Conducts professional patient interviews obtaining demographic, financial and biographical information. Processes registrations in an efficient, accurate and timely manner. Responsible for performing cashier functions for patients. Provides service excellence utilizing Ohana principles and adheres to the PH Standards of Behavior. Provides input into performance appraisals for front desk co-workers. Makes recommendations for hiring and trains new co-workers. Recommends co-worker disciplinary action as needed. Serves as a resource for front desk co- workers. Helps to ensure standard office processes are sustained related to Patient-Centered Care. Closely collaborates with Clinic Manager.
Education
Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent of a GED. Associate's degree preferred.

Experience
Must have 2 years clerical experience, including work experience using Microsoft Windows. Three years of health care experience, ambulatory care experience preferred.
Other Qualifications
Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Must be able to perform basic math calculations. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task and work independently. Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking skills.
