Registered Nurse–Cardiac Care (Permanent Role)
Location: Kansas City, MO, 64101
Shift: 12-hr Day/Night Rotate
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Responsibilities
As an RN in Cardiac Care, you will:
- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients
- Coordinate patient care under the supervision of the Director, Manager, or Nurse Manager
- Maintain accountability for nursing practices in compliance with hospital policies, state Nursing Practice Acts, and ANA Standards of Practice
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes promptly
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
Qualifications - Licensure: Current RN license in the state of Missouri
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience in Cardiac Care or a similar
- Certifications:
- BLS (required upon hire)
- ACLS (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Organizational and critical thinking abilities
- Leadership potential
