Lead the Flagship Operation for a Global Packaging Leader
Join a market-leading manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging serving the healthcare, food, and consumer products industries. This FDA-regulated facility operates with cleanroom production, advanced automation, and world-class engineering support — and it’s looking for an accomplished Plant Manager to lead operations, drive profitability, and elevate performance across all metrics.
This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to executive level leadership and responsible for aligning plant operations with corporate growth, customer expectations, and EBITDA goals.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and optimize all plant functions — production, supply chain, engineering, maintenance, and quality — to ensure world-class performance.
- Manage full P&L ownership, linking operational efficiency, cost control, and performance metrics directly to EBITDA impact.
- Champion value stream mapping, continuous improvement, and lean initiatives to enhance productivity, throughput, and waste reduction.
- Oversee compliance with FDA regulations, GMP standards, and cleanroom protocols.
- Collaborate with sales, product development, and operations to ensure alignment on capacity, quality, and new product introductions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, communication, and team cohesion across all functions.
- Evaluate automation, capital investment, and engineering opportunities to support long-term scalability.
What You Bring
- Over 10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, with proven success in Plant Manager, Operations Director, or executive-level roles leading large-scale, high-performance operations.
- Experience leading in a FDA-regulated, cleanroom, or highly automated manufacturing operations highly preferred.
- Experience within rigid plastics, injection molding, extrusion, or other types of plastic manufacturing preferred.
- Strong cross-functional leadership across supply chain, engineering, product development, and quality systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, connect performance KPIs to financial outcomes, and drive measurable improvement.
- Skilled in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related technical field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
