Sales & Marketing Director
About the Role
Our client is a rapidly growing, vertically integrated cannabis company dedicated to providing exceptional products and experiences to their customers and developing the best retail operations in the Oregon cannabis market. We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Director to lead both teams and report directly to the CEO. This role is highly dynamic, involving both retail and manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance strategy with execution—comfortable rolling up their sleeves for data analysis, software tools, and direct communication with stakeholders, while also coaching and developing the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company goals.
- Set, monitor, and achieve KPIs; forecast sales based on campaigns and market trends.
- Train, coach, and hold Sales Reps and Brand Ambassadors accountable.
- Analyze sales data, pricing strategies, competitor activity, and market research.
- Provide leadership and support to the sales team and brand ambassador network.
- Manage marketing budgets, campaigns, and timelines across teams.
- Track and analyze campaign performance and ROI.
- Design and execute new marketing and advertising initiatives.
- Drive traffic to online ordering platforms and optimize merchandising to increase AOV.
- Oversee marketing assets, packaging, graphic design, and advertising placements.
Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years of management experience in a sales and/or marketing environment.
- Experience developing and tracking KPI’s, forecasting projected sales and managing a sales team.
- Experience developing marketing strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Ability to analyze performance data, pricing strategies, market research data and competitor products.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, or related field.
- Proven management experience leading teams.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
