This is an onsite position (4 days/week) located in Central New Jersey.

Strawn Arnold has been retained by a Global Generics Company to recruit their Vice President People, North America.
Summary:
The Vice President People, North America is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy for North America, the Company’s largest market with over 2,000 employees. This role will report to the Chief People Officer, who is based at the company’s global headquarters, and will be a key member of the global Human Resources team.
The responsibilities within North America (NA) are wide and include leading in change management, talent acquisition and leadership development, succession planning, performance management, colleague engagement, diversity and inclusion, organizational design and effectiveness, colleague relations, workforce planning/analytics, corporate communications, HR business partnering, payroll, benefits and compensation, among others. This individual is responsible for implementing company systems and aligning processes with industry best practices to make the company a top performing, best-in-class organization.
The Vice President People must be a top-tier human resources leader with demonstrated experience in high-growth companies. Specifically, the Company has grown through acquisition and there is a need to integrate these acquisitions into a more unified organization both in terms of company culture and from an operating perspective. This will be a key initiative for this role.
This position is located at the Company’s US headquarters in NJ. Frequent business travel is required as regular presence is required at multiple company sites in the US. There will also be some international travel.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience among others:
- BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred.
- Fifteen plus years of Human Resources experience in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-growth environment.
- Manufacturing HR background company is desirable.
- Demonstrated success translating business strategies into organizational and HR strategies and actions.
- Experience leading through change in a complex geographically dispersed organization.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to solve complex business problems.
- Subject matter expertise on HR practices and development of people-related policies.
- Proven track record of managing complex HR related projects.
- Demonstrated prior experience with integrations from M&A processes (purchase and/or sale transactions).
- Effective negotiating and influencing skills.
