The Opportunity
As Vice President of Operations, you’ll join the Executive Leadership Team and report directly to our President. You will drive operational excellence across Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Customer Care, ensuring we achieve both our Annual Operating Plan and our 5-year strategic growth goals.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and inspire a cross-functional operations organization to achieve world-class standards in food safety, quality, and service.
- Champion Lean and Six Sigma practices to eliminate waste and improve efficiencies.
- Manage multimillion-dollar capital projects (up to $8M) and oversee budgeting, cost control, and performance metrics.
- Partner closely with HR to build a positive, high-engagement culture through thoughtful hiring, coaching, and retention strategies.
- Maintain the highest levels of safety and sanitation in every process.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of senior operations leadership in food production with a track record of measurable results.
- Early background includes experience at a major food company (e.g., Hormel, Tyson, Perdue, Kerry) strongly preferred.
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process-improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and financial skills (MBA a plus).
- Proven commitment to food safety excellence and large-scale project management.
- A collaborative, strategic mindset and respect for time—yours and others’.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $180,000 – $220,000
- 20% annual bonus tied to year-over-year growth objectives
