The Warehouse & Inventory Supervisor owns and leads the materials management function at Senra Systems. This role defines core processes and establishes best practices for receiving, inventory control, kitting, and customer shipments. The Supervisor is accountable for data accuracy, on-time fulfillment for both internal and external customers, and continuous material flow to keep production moving without delay. This person will play a critical role in defining how we scale our multi-site materials function at Senra Systems.
What you'll own:
- Oversee inbound and outbound material flow, ensuring accurate storage, issuing, and tracking of parts and hardware
- Lead picking, kitting, and storage operations while maintaining inventory integrity through periodic cycle counts
- Own and optimize warehouse layout to improve space utilization and operational efficiency. Be able to identify bottlenecks and drive solutions to completion
- Track and report performance metrics, including average time-to-kit, packing ship accuracy %, and weekly receipt & shipping volumes
- Mentor and manage a small but impactful warehousing & inventory staff. Responsible for expectation-setting, performance management, and career development
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and the internal Software team to define materials management processes and develop software solutions to support and improve the operation
What you'll bring to the team:
- Minimum of 2 years as a Lead or Supervisor of a materials management function, i.e., shipping & receiving, inventory, production coordination, or logistics
- Direct experience authoring and implementing SOP’s for a materials management function
- Direct experience developing & enforcing operations KPI’s
Bonus Points:
- Hold forklift and heavy machinery certifications.
- Ability to make customer deliveries as needed
- Demonstrated ability of standing up an inventory/warehouse from scratch.
- Has led company-wide inventory cycle counts and material audits
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
Compensation:
- Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
- Salary Range: $85,000-$115,000
- This is an onsite role at our headquarters in Redondo Beach, CA.
