Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic, high-impact manufacturing leader to drive global transformation across DwyerOmega’s network of 20+ sites in 10 countries. This executive role will lead manufacturing strategy, footprint optimization, and capability building to enable operational excellence, scalability, and sustainability. The role will serve as a key driver of long-term competitiveness by aligning global operations with our business growth and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Strategy & Transformation
- Lead the development and execution of a multi-year global manufacturing strategy, focused on modernization, digitization, and agility.
- Drive initiatives to integrate advanced manufacturing capabilities, automation, and lean practices.
- Align operational capabilities with corporate goals, innovation roadmap, and sustainability objectives.
- Standardize best practices and operating rhythms across sites to ensure consistent safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
- Leverage Lean, Six Sigma, and CI tools to elevate operational KPIs and reduce waste.
Footprint Optimization & Capital Planning
- Develop and lead global footprint strategy—including site optimization, consolidation, and localization efforts.
- Manage greenfield/brownfield projects, plant moves, and capital investment planning.
- Build data-driven decision models to evaluate strategic options, risks, and ROI.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Product Management, Finance, and HR to ensure execution alignment.
- Lead cross-functional strategic programs, ensuring milestones are met on time, on budget, and with business impact.
- Develop governance frameworks and KPI dashboards to drive visibility and accountability.
Organizational Leadership & Change
- Oversee Global Manufacturing Engineering to ensure process standardization and product movement excellence.
- Lead change management initiatives to support workforce transitions and process evolution.
- Cultivate a high-performance, continuous improvement culture through coaching, development, and communication.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of leadership experience in global manufacturing, with a focus on strategy and transformation.
- Demonstrated success in global footprint optimization and execution of complex, multi-site initiatives.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, digital technologies, and sustainability practices.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
- Deep financial acumen and experience in capital planning, modeling, and ROI justification.
- Excellent communication, project leadership, and change management skills.
