The Registered Nurse coordinates and provides patient care tailored to the patient population, ensuring safety and quality in line with unit standards.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure and BLS certification; other certifications required within 6 months.
- Possesses knowledge of age-specific care, effective communication, and respect for patient rights.
- Reports to a Patient Care Director or Manager and works in a clean, well-lit environment with exposure to infectious diseases.
- Requires physical endurance for emergency response, patient handling, and prolonged standing; must have good vision, hearing, manual dexterity, and physical strength.
