Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Procurement Coordinator with Consumer Product Goods (CPG) experience to join LimeLife’s Purchasing and Logistics Department function for North America. The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and services necessary for the company. This role involves negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and evaluate suppliers to establish relationships that align with company goals.
· Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best deals.
· Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to maintain optimal stock levels.
· Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless supply chain processes.
· Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and pricing.
· Manage purchase orders and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
· Analyze supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality or delivery.
· Prepare reports on purchasing activities and supply chain performance.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
· All other related duties assigned.
Qualifications:
· Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
· Experience in International freight, primary and secondary sourcing, batch production
and freight forwarding.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills.
· Experience with ERP systems.
· Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of logistics processes and supply chain management principles.
· Experience in consumer goods, beauty, or direct sales/e-commerce industries is preferred but not required.
· Hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
· Hybrid in NYC office 3 days a week is a must.
