The General Manager oversees all business operations to ensure the organization achieves its financial and operational objectives. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the General Manager assumes profit and loss responsibility for their location. Their direct reports include Plant Manager(s), Sales Manager, Credit Manager, Controller, and Human Resource Manager. Total responsibilities for 2 plants 80 employees and the opening of a future new plant.

- Ensure Profitability and Workforce Efficiency: Maintain high profitability levels within the company while fostering a dedicated and efficient workforce.
- Oversee Regional Department Management: Manage the performance and coordination of regional departments, including Sales, Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, Manufacturing, and Shipping.
- Capital Management: Oversee significant capital investment within the region
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to maximize company assets, investments, and overall efficiency.
- Strategic Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, and control operations to achieve organizational goals, with oversight of production, engineering, sales, and shipping.
- Problem-Solving and Strategy Development: Identify challenges and develop actionable strategies to address problem areas effectively.
- Market Expansion and Sales Growth: Build strategic sales approaches to enhance customer understanding and drive market share growth.
- Long-Term Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Senior Corporate Management to design and implement long-term organizational, technological, and marketing strategies to maintain competitiveness.

Competencies
- A university degree or college diploma in engineering, business administration, commerce, or other relevant discipline
- Over 5 years of work experience in the leadership positions in a manufacturing environment
- Proven and highly successful experience in sales and sales management.
- Proven leader with strong motivational skills and the ability to grow with the business.
- Clear and unwavering focus on the customer.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A solid understanding and familiarity with basic financial controls and a focus on the bottom line.
- Experience in a construction or building products company or market is preferred but not required.

Salary: $150 to 165K base + 50 to 75K annual bonus
