Vice President of Operations – Victoria, TX (Onsite position)

Job Summary
The Vice President of Operations is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the operational activities of the organization. This role ensures the development and implementation of efficient systems and cost-effective strategies to support current and future business needs.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and communicate the strategic direction for operations across the organization. Partner with executive leadership to align operational strategies with overall business goals. Collaborate across departments and divisions to drive organizational objectives. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements, technologies, and systems to optimize resources and operational efficiency. Ensure departmental decisions and project plans align with the organization's vision, including those related to staffing, materials, procurement, and facilities. Create and implement world-class standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and practices to drive consistency and excellence across operations. Manage and oversee departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Report on operational performance and key metrics to the CEO and other members of the leadership team. Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain operational excellence. Assess training needs and ensure effective onboarding and ongoing development for team members. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities. Deep knowledge of industry principles, procedures, and best practices. Outstanding organizational skills and a sharp attention to detail. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with or knowledge of the Epicor P21 system is preferred.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred; candidates with 5+ years of directly relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of 5 years in an operational leadership role. Proven ability to lead at the director level or higher, including managing and developing both mid-level and entry-level team members.
