Pay: $22/hr - $24/hr
Contract: 4 months, extensions likely, conversion possible

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Control Specialist / Administrative Assistant to manage our document filing and archival system, ensuring efficient data entry in supplier transparency.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, have strong computer skills, and demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new programs. You will play a crucial role in supporting team operations and collaborating with various departments.
Responsibilities:
Document Management:
- Organize, file, and archive physical and digital documents in a systematic manner.
- Develop and maintain naming conventions and categorization for easy retrieval of documents.
- Conduct regular audits of documents to ensure they are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with company standards.
Data Entry:
- Accurately enter and update data in various systems, ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Monitor and ensure supplier transparency by maintaining accurate records of supplier information and communications.
Software Proficiency:
- Utilize Microsoft Word to create, format, and edit documents as needed.
- Use Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization (charts/graphs).
Collaboration and Support:
- Work collaboratively with team members to support various projects and initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues across departments to facilitate smooth operations and resolve issues.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions, sharing insights and feedback.
Learning and Development:
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new software and tools, particularly document approval platforms and other relevant applications.
- Stay updated on best practices related to document management and data entry.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in document management and data entry; previous administrative experience or Quality Assurance experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with additional software applications is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Ability to learn new software programs quickly and efficiently.
