Seeking a registered nurse with an accredited nursing program graduation, holding a current New Mexico or Compact state RN license. BLS certification required or obtained within 2 weeks of hire; other certifications must be acquired within 6 months and maintained without a grace period.
- Must possess current knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population and communicate effectively according to developmental age.
- Responsible to Patient Care Director or Manager in a variable schedule environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-ray areas.
- Physical requirements include the ability to handle emergencies, prolonged standing and walking, patient positioning, reaching, bending, and fine motor skills, with normal or corrected hearing and vision.
- Must work in a clean, ventilated environment, adaptable to schedule changes, and handle stressful professional relationships.
