Oliver Inc. is seeking a results-driven, operationally excellent Vice President, General Manager (VP, GM) to lead one of our largest divisions. This executive leader will drive business strategy, operational excellence, and financial performance while reinforcing a strong, people-first culture rooted in safety, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
As a key member of our senior leadership team, the VP, GM will report directly to our Chief Operating Officer (COO) and own full P&L responsibility, manufacturing optimization, and team leadership across all operational functions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the printing or packaging industry, outstanding executive leadership capabilities, and a track record of transformational results.
As our Vice President, General Manager (VP,GM), you will:
- Lead plant operations with a process-focused mindset, prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Oversee operational KPIs and build scalable SOPs to support growth.
- Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives across the organization.
- Partner with sales leadership to ensure operational alignment with customer and market needs.
- Own the division’s P&L, budget, and capital improvement initiatives.
- Build and mentor high-performing leadership teams across functional areas.
- Represent the company with key customers, at industry events, and during acquisition due diligence.
You are a fit for our Vice President, General Manager role if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or industrial engineering degree a plus.
- 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including 5+ years at the senior executive or director level.
- Background in the printing or packaging industry (e.g., folding cartons, pressure-sensitive labels, commercial print).
- Proven success in P&L ownership, manufacturing optimization, Lean/CI, and organizational leadership.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and build strong internal and external relationships.
- High level of business acumen and operational rigor with an uncompromising commitment to safety and quality.
