Company Overview:

We are currently seeking a motivated and proactive Plant Manager for our Bowman, SC location.
Position Summary:
The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall management, direction, and coordination of all operations at the Peachland facility. This includes executing production performance to meet or exceed targeted levels, driving continuous improvement and efficiency, upholding quality standards, and ensuring a safe working environment — all while maintaining the lowest possible production cost.
This position reports directly to the Regional Operations Manager and oversees the facility's production, maintenance, delivery, quality control, and administrative teams. The Plant Manager must also collaborate closely with the sales team to meet sales goals and customer satisfaction metrics.
Major Responsibilities:
- Full P&L and fiduciary responsibility for the plant.
- Oversee procurement and usage of raw materials.
- Manage production and quality control of finished goods.
- Inventory management and reporting.
- Ensure timely product delivery, excellent customer service, and effective staffing.
- Lead and enforce safety programs to ensure a secure work environment.
- Direct the maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds.
- Partner with maintenance and engineering teams to proactively manage equipment health and reduce downtime.
- Foster a team-oriented culture with a focus on leadership, accountability, and development.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of management experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction materials, or a related industry.
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interact with maintenance and engineering teams.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build, manage, and motivate teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; customer-focused mindset.
