G&E Partners are currently working with a top ENR ranked GC looking for a VP of operations to join them and help sustain the transformative growth year they are currently experiencing.
The role is with a GC who can offer unparalleled project size and scope, boasting a list of clients that features multiple fortune 500 clients- allowing you strategic oversight of projects that may define your career.
Roles and Responsibilities (Not Exhaustive):
- Oversee Daily Operations: Lead and manage all field and office operations across multiple construction projects to ensure timely, on-budget delivery with high-quality standards.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement operational strategies, resource planning, and process improvements to drive efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, mentor, and manage project managers, superintendents, and support staff, fostering a high-performance, safety-focused culture.
- Financial Management: Collaborate with finance and executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting to ensure operational goals align with company objectives.
- Client & Stakeholder Relations: Serve as a key liaison with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring strong relationships, contract compliance, and risk mitigation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 15+ years of commercial construction experience, with at least 5 years at the executive project leadership level.
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale projects.
- Experience managing client relationships.
- Long-term tenure with reputable General Contractors (5+ years at a single firm preferred).
- Must be based in or open to relocating to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex; regional travel required.
