Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or operations leadership
- Proven track record managing teams of 10+ across multiple locations
- Deep understanding of DOT/FMSCA compliance and safety best practices
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CDL (Class B with passenger endorsement) preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight to managers, drivers, dispatch, and support teams.
- Ensure on-time performance, service quality, and operational efficiency.
- Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and training.
- Oversee safety compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and internal policies.
- Collaborate across departments (Maintenance, HR, Safety, Customer Service).
- Manage operating budgets, track KPIs, and implement process improvements.
- Support contract launches, new site openings, and expansion initiatives.
- Conduct audits, fleet and facility inspections, and safety investigations.
- Represent the company in client meetings, vendor relations, and public engagements.
