Melbourne Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and compassionate
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead our facility with a strong commitment to quality care, regulatory compliance, and team development. If you are a dynamic leader with a passion for long-term care and a proven track record in healthcare management, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing home to ensure efficient and effective facility management
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and licensing standards
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to maintain high standards of resident care
- Lead and support staff hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment
- Coordinate care plans and collaborate with medical and clinical teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Monitor quality improvement initiatives and make data-driven adjustments to programs as needed
- Address and resolve resident and family concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records related to resident care, staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
- Valid Administrator License (LNHA) in the State of Florida - required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, including resident rights
- Proven financial management skills, including budgeting and reporting
- Familiarity with care planning, medication administration protocols, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Understanding of social work and resident advocacy within a healthcare environment
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
