Job Summary:

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a BC/BE General Anesthesiologists to join the cohesive and supportive team at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This Level I Trauma Center has proudly been serving Central VA for over 50 years and is committed to providing the highest quality patient care with compassion and leading edge expertise.

Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:

Care Team Model of 9 General Anesthesiologists, 4 CV Anesthesiologists and 29 CRNAs covering 20 sites of service.
Diverse mix of cases including Trauma, Vascular, Thoracic, OB, General, Orthopedics, Urology, GYN, GI and Pediatrics.
Annual surgical volume 18,000 cases. 500 labor epidurals on average.
Average work week 45-50 hours in house.
Call shifts are split equally amongst the team:
- Primary Trauma call is in-house from 6p-7a on weekdays and 7a-7a on Weekends and weekday holidays. Post call day off.
- Secondary Call- Back-up call from home, 6p-7a on weekdays and 7a-7a on weekends and weekday holidays. First out.
- Calls picked up beyond contracted numbers garner additional compensation.
