Description
This is a hands-on manufacturing position for someone with a high mechanical aptitude and good people skills. In this position, you will be responsible for all aspects of our small manufacturing facility from managing a group of employees to troubleshooting and correcting manufacturing problems. The ideal candidate is someone who loves making products and loves the machines that make products.
Primary Duties Include
- Supervising a small group of production employees
- Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting machines, including injection molding, automated cnc cutting machines, and similar.
- Developing new equipment, fixtures, and systems for manufacturing sunglasses and goggles
- Scheduling weekly production and expediting orders to keep customers happy
- Completing quality control inspections
- Developing and implementing processes to run lean and efficiently
- Opening and closing the factory each day
- Maintaining the facility
Qualifications
- 5+ Years of Hands-on Manufacturing Experience
- 2+ Years of Management Experience
- Very Mechanically Inclined (aka able to fix most anything)
