My client is transforming the future of sustainable agriculture. As they continue to expand globally, they are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Supply Chain to lead and evolve their supply chain function across planning, logistics, procurement, and operations.
This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the executive team, and will be instrumental in shaping the company’s supply chain infrastructure as they transition from early-stage commercialization to full-scale production and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy to support international growth, commercial readiness, and operational efficiency
- Oversee all core supply chain functions: demand and supply planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and operational execution
- Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure alignment between supply chain capabilities and business needs
- Build and manage a high-performing supply chain team, driving a culture of ownership, adaptability, and continuous improvement
Planning & Forecasting
- Design and implement a robust planning framework that ensures accurate forecasting, optimized inventory levels, and efficient product flow
- Integrate data-driven planning tools and ERP systems to improve visibility, responsiveness, and decision-making across the supply chain
- Align supply planning with production schedules, product launches, and customer demand globally
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Lead sourcing strategy, including selection, negotiation, and performance management of key suppliers and contract manufacturers
- Establish strong vendor relationships to ensure supply continuity, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance
- Optimize procurement processes to support scalability, sustainability, and innovation goals
Logistics & Operations
- Manage global logistics, distribution networks, and third-party providers to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, transportation standards, and cold chain (if applicable)
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational workflows, KPIs, and supply chain risk mitigation strategies
What My Client is Looking For:
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience, including leadership roles in biotech, agtech, life sciences, or related industries
- Proven expertise in supply chain planning, procurement, logistics, and operations within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong background in agricultural technology, sustainable agriculture, or crop science is highly desirable
- Experience scaling supply chain functions from early stage through commercialization
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to work cross-functionally with global teams
