Our Opportunity
GPJ is hiring a VP of Fabrication to join the growing team in our Las Vegas location.
This role is hybrid, requiring you to report on-site to our Las Vegas office location a minimum of 2 days per week.
Your Role
As the VP of Fabrication, your role involves overseeing and coordinating all fabrication-related activities to ensure the highest quality products while maximizing profit margins at our facilities. You lead by example, committed to innovative thinking and open to adopting new construction methods that push the boundaries of our industry.
In your position, you are responsible for managing, training, and motivating the fabrication team to achieve goals. Additionally, you oversee Logistics and Warehousing personnel, as well as shop operations, working closely with the GF and Shop Foreman. You also conduct GPJ training seminars on fabrication for GPJ staff and collaborate with the Executive Management team to address staffing needs. You will oversee safety management of your facility. It is your responsibility to ensure there is a consistent safety program that aligns with GPJ US goals.
As the VP, you manage various aspects of fabrication, including departmental capacity planning, setting timelines, monitoring shop inventory in coordination with Purchasing and Shop personnel, optimizing vehicle and forklift usage, and providing regular reports on maintenance and overhead costs on a daily and monthly basis.

Your Experience
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Construction Management or a minimum of (15) years’ of industry experience in the disciplines listed.
- Knowledge of building and construction standards and terminology.
- Ability to read/understand engineering drawings and knowledge CAD/CAM manufacturing and fabrication.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities
Travel & Mobility
- Travel to major shows as white collar supervision when required, at an estimated 10-15%.
- Ability to work irregular hours in addition to normal business hours, to include nights, weekends and holidays as needed
