About The Role
Join our growing commercial bread bakery as the Plant Manager at our Three Forks, Montana facility—a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence. You’ll lead all facets of production, maintain top-tier quality and safety standards, and inspire a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll manage daily operations, collaborate cross-functionally, and align plant strategies with overarching company goals.
What You’ll Do
- Set the Course: Plan and execute efficient, scalable production schedules that align with our goals.
- Lead the Team: Guide supervisors and operators, building a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Assure Quality & Safety: Own our HACCP- and SQF-compliant processes—ensuring every loaf meets our standards.
- Maximize Resources: Optimize labor, materials, and equipment usage to boost productivity and cut waste.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Refine SOPs and production flow, troubleshoot challenges, and implement smarter processes.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with procurement, logistics, and sales to keep operations in sync.
- Report with Insight: Use data to track plant performance, tackle issues, and present findings to leadership.
- Build Talent: Coach and develop your team through training, mentoring, and hands-on support.
- Manage Crises: Address production hiccups swiftly minimizing downtime and keeping things running smoothly.

What We Need
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s in food science, Ops Management, Business, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in food production/manufacturing—bakery preferred.
- 3+ years in leadership or supervisory roles.
Technical Proficiency
- HACCP, SQF Code 9, FSMA, and advanced food safety training.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making in high-pressure environments.
- Proactive maintenance and crisis response skills.
Leadership & Communication
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and crisis-management abilities.
- Skilled in staff mentoring and team development across diverse settings.
Operational Expertise
- Advanced knowledge of SOPs, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and traceability.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and modern production oversight tools.
