Invenex Search are seeking an experienced operational leader with a proven track record of success in the CDMO landscape. This individual will drive strategic execution, ensure manufacturing efficiency, maintain regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across all sites. The VP of Operations will play a critical role in scaling operations to meet client demand while ensuring product quality, cost control, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on growth, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Lead long-term capacity planning and infrastructure investments to support evolving client needs and market demands.
- Oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to cGMP, regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, etc.), and internal quality systems.
- Drive end-to-end supply chain optimization, including procurement, inventory, and logistics management.
- Champion lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, R&D, Business Development, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Support client tech transfers, scale-up activities, and new product introductions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing operational teams.
- Build a culture of accountability, safety, and employee engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in operations within the CDMO or biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrated success in leading multi-site operations or high-complexity manufacturing facilities.
- Deep understanding of cGMP regulations, tech transfer, scale-up, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, financial management, and team leadership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
