Salary/Hourly Rate
$130k - $165k Annually (Plus Bonus)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Operations to lead the residential operations division. Reporting directly to the COO and President, this role oversees service, installation, and office operations across multiple locations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and business profitability while helping drive growth and scalability across the company.
Responsibilities Of The Vice President Of Operations
- Lead residential service, install, and office support operations across multiple sites.
- Manage service managers, install managers, and operations/admin leaders.
- Drive improvements in service quality, safety, job performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Implement scalable processes and operational procedures across teams.
- Monitor and manage KPIs to meet or exceed operational targets.
- Oversee hiring, workforce planning, and development of operations teams.
- Foster a high-performing, accountable, and collaborative team culture.
- Work closely with Sales, HR, Finance, and executive leadership to align on strategy.
- Resolve customer escalations and uphold exceptional service standards.
- Conduct regular operational reviews to assess performance and drive improvements.
Required Experience/Skills for the Vice President of Operations:
- 7 - 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in field operations (preferably residential HVAC or home services).
- Experience managing multi-location teams in service and installation.
- Strong track record in operational planning, process implementation, and people management.
- Financial acumen in managing budgets and KPIs.
- Proficient in ServiceTitan and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Vice President of Operations:
- HVAC industry leadership experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience scaling residential operations in a high-growth environment.
- OSHA or related safety certifications are a plus.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent experience will be considered.
