The Scheduler/Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the client and caregiver relationship and ultimately helps provide a "best in home care" experience for both clients and employees.
- Plays the integral role in interfacing with caregiver staff in ensuring the proper caregiver and client match. Ensurs that all referrals are received in an accurate , detailed manner and are handled properly.
- Performs various supervisory activities for scheduling appropriate caregivers to clients; timecad processing, where necessary; and monitoring of JJA & Welsky and other payroll responsibilities as needed. May perform othe office coordination duties.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and personnel management.
- Maintains a positive demeanor at all times and is ables to effectively multitask in a high functioning office environment.
- The ideal candidate has prior experience working in the home care industry or medical office setting.
- Medicaid Waiver &/or VA experience a HUGE plus!
The Desired Candidate Will Possess The Following
- HD/GED with 4 years of direct experience working with the aged & disabled with two years of supervisory experience.
- Basic office and computer skills and organizational abilities. Excellent interpersonal relations abilities. Excellent telephone skills.
- Able to work independently, demonstrationg sound judgement.
- Be available as required fo on-call duty outside of normal office hours.
