Pacific International has been retained by a long-standing, privately held food manufacturing company with a strong legacy and a growing national presence. The business is at a pivotal point in its transformation journey, with new investment and a sharp focus on scaling operations, enhancing capacity, and building out a next-generation leadership team. The company was recently acquired by a private equity firm, marking the beginning of a transformational growth phase focused on operational scale, modernization, and long-term strategic investment.
As part of this strategic evolution, we are leading the search for a Vice President of Manufacturing role. This individual will play a central role in leading operations across the company with a mandate to optimize performance, drive cultural transformation, and build the foundation for long-term, scalable growth while working closely with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
- Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, packaging, maintenance, and scheduling
- Drive capacity expansion and cost optimization efforts while maintaining best-in-class safety and quality standards
- Lead strategic operational improvements across systems, processes, and technology
Team Development & Culture Building
- Build and mentor a high-performing operations team across a mix of long-tenured employees and new supervisors
- Instill a culture of ownership, collaboration, and accountability across all levels of the organization
- Serve as a hands-on leader who earns trust and models operational excellence
Strategic Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with executive leadership to develop and implement a 3–5 year growth and capability roadmap
- Collaborate closely with peers in Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Supply Chain to align operations with commercial objectives
- Participate in capital investment planning and infrastructure upgrades
Ideal Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Operations, or related field
- 7–10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in food, beverage, or CPG environments
- Demonstrated success leading operational transformation and team development
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and aligning plant performance with P&L goals
- Proven ability to lead from the floor while also contributing at a strategic level
- Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and change management expertise
