Work schedule is Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm**

Position Summary: Responsible for achieving all established safety, environmental, quality, operational and financial goals set for the production department. Operate with the lowest possible manufacturing costs and provide overall support and direction to supporting staff. Communicate with internal and external customers as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, as well as other duties that may be assigned.

Promote proper branch operations, policies and goals toward improving branch profitability in all areas.
Promote cost reduction opportunities and delegate responsibility for action.
Promote safety policies and lead by example.
Continuously evaluate production equipment and processes to ensure competitiveness in the industry. Manage work flow to meet delivery dates and on time performance.
Monitor levels of production, shipments, labor performance, scrap, rejects and housekeeping. Take action to correct unfavorable deviations to improve trends.
Ensure equipment is maintained to achieve production requirements and provide a safe and clean work environment.
Promotes customer requirements.
Verify readiness of a job (kitting) before it is sent to production (tooling, fixtures, material, program validation).
Schedule jobs in production in conjunction with office production schedule.
Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Maintain work flow by setting process variables (cycle times), observing efficiency and equipment performance.
Comply with relevant AS9100D procedures and work closely with the Quality Control Department as needed to maintain AS9100D certification status.
Manage tooling – interface with VMI tooling vendor, order tooling, organize tooling area.
Other duties and assignments as required.

Minimum Qualifications: To perform the job successfully, the individual must have the following minimum qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Proficiency in standard office and database programs/equipment
Knowledge of ERP systems

Education and Experience: (Required and preferred educational and experiential qualifications)

High School Diploma or equivalent
1-3 years’ experience in a supervisory role in a production environment
