LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Location: 1865 Woodmoor Dr., Monument, CO 80132

Schedule: 12-hour Shifts

Salary: $33 - $35/HRLY

Role Summary

The LPN is responsible for providing the quality medical care within Mountain Springs Recovery’ Detoxification and Residential Programs. The LPN will report on a variety of functions including safety, quality improvement needs, and compliance standards of daily client care.

Responsibilities

Initial Detox treatment plan generation and discharge planning instructions.
Consults with the physician regarding patient health care plans and treatment.
Complies with medical records policies regarding the complete and accurate documentation of patient care. Initiates and maintains required records and legal documents.
Educates patients about health and illness’ and promotes health maintenance
Collaborates with the clinical team regarding the patient’s treatment, health and illness prevention.
Administers medications, provides vaccinations and renders treatment to clients.

Preferred Qualifications

Possess experience and/or education with crisis management.
Preferred experience working with medical records is a plus.
Preferred 1-3 Years of nursing experience, in the chemically dependent population.

Minimum Requirements

Valid LPN license on DORA
Valid Driver’s License
Current CPR and First Aid Certification or willing to obtain.
Must successfully complete Background Check, Drug Screen, and TB Test

Physical Requirements

Light lifting, light walking, able to walk up and down stairs, and extended periods of time sitting.
