Job Description & Responsibilities

Join an established group of neurologists in an academic setting
Opportunity to develop a neurology subspecialty program
Anticipated mix of specialty and general neurology, with at least 50% of the time in neuromuscular
Mostly in-person outpatient clinic with opportunity for some remote tele-neurology
Opportunity for academic appointment at Columbia University and teaching Bassett IM Residents & Columbia-Bassett Medical Students
Inpatient & Outpatient Tele-Neurology support from University of Rochester
Very limited call; 2-4 days per month
Full spectrum case mix and diverse patient population
EMR-EPIC
Salary Range: $317,000 - $340,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.

Job Qualifications

MD, DO or MBBS
Board Eligible or Board Certified
New York State licensure
BLS certification required
Required stroke experience; reading EEG and/or performing EMG desirable
DEA Required
