Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care and support to our client in their Deerfield Beach home. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing the daily lives of our clients by ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Duties And Responsibilities

Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Help with mobility and support client in transfers from beds, chairs, and other seating
Ensure client's safety and comfort at all times
Prepare light meals and assist with feeding the client
Provide companionship by engaging in conversation or recreational activities
Maintain a clean and orderly environment by performing routine housekeeping tasks
Follow specific care plans tailored to the client’s needs
Record daily care notes of the client’s condition and reporting any significant changes to the care manager
Ensure strict compliance with hygiene and safety standards
Communicate efficiently with client families and healthcare professionals

Requirements

Valid Florida HHA certification (75 hours minimum)
Current CPR certification
Successful completion of a Level 2 background check or willingness to obtain one
Reliable transportation and a strong commitment to punctuality
Previous experience in a home health setting preferred, but not essential for the right candidate
Possess a caring and responsive demeanor, prioritizing the client’s needs
Ability to work both morning and evening shifts from Monday through Friday and 10 hours on Saturday
